Chris Laflin Founder and President Chris Laflin began working on the concept of Ricky Rickshaw Rides just after an
Astros playoff baseball game in 2005 and began offering service on the streets of Houston in July 2007. Previous to launching Ricky Rickshaw Rides, Chris was a co-founder and VP Sales
and Marketing for technology consulting firm eNETsolutions www.enetsolutions.net (1999-2006), helped launch and was Director of Sales and Marketing for SMB accounting, HR and Paytroll consulting firm,
Nextec Group (formerly known as Compass Systems), www.nextecgroup.com from 1997-1999 and straight out of college in 1988 until 1995 was a licensed insurance agent
and registered investment advisor for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company and Robert W Baird Securites.
The youngest child of eight, Chris was born and raised in Houston where his parents still live to this day.
He attended Holy Ghost elementary, Strake Jesuit College Preparatory and graduated from Bellaire High School where he attended
his senior year. Chris went on to earn his BBA in Finance from the University of Houston where he was involved with
and a member of the Finance Organization, co-ed business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi, and the International Business and Cultural
Organization.
Chris is married with four beautiful daughters. He is a lifetime member and past
committman of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, University of Houston lifetime alumni (Houston Alumni Organization) and
a Cougar Pride supporter, and attends Tallowood Baptist Church.

Harold Barthe Chief Security and Compliance Officer Harold Barthe is a retired 27 year veteran of the Houston Police Department. .
During his tenure at Houston Police Department, Harold served as one of the founding members of the mounted patrol unit and
the Truck Enforcement unit within the HPD. Harold also served in the elite Solo Motorcycle unit and Mayor Bob Lanier's
security force, personally driving the mayor's limousine. Harold also was a board member of the Houston Police Officer's
Union where he started the Education Committee responsible for bringing in accredited universities to educated police officers,
and was recommended to Chris Laflin as the perfect person to fill the position at Ricky Rickshaw Rides. Harold is still serving
the citizens of Houston and Harris County as a Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy assigned to the Mounted Patrol Unit Harold
is married with three children, in his time off Harold enjoys piddling around on his ranch breeding and riding horses. He
is a graduate of Mountain State University, Beckley in West Virginia. Harold is an active committeeman and life member of
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the Houston Police Officers Union.
